AASA Returns Policy

Dementia Australia, SA Inc (AASA) is committed to ensuring clients, community members and stakeholders have access to a Resource Centre that can provide the latest and most up to date resources.

AASA realises at times you may purchase an item that, for whatever reason, is not what you expected or does not meet your need.  To this end, we offer this Returns Policy.



This Policy outlines requirements for the genral public wishing to return items that have been purchased from the Resource Centre and for whatever reason, require returning or replacing.



The AASA Returns Policy period is for 7 days.  If 7 days have passed since your purchase,unfortunately we can not offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned including:

1. Plush or puppet animals,

2. Lifelike Baby Dolls,

3. Any items made out of fabric or special orders.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.


Warranty Against Defects

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.  You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably


Refunds (if applicable) foreseeable loss or damage.  You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will call or send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your refund is approved, then it will be processed, and a credit automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment.


Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded.   Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sa.admin@dementia.org.au  and send your item to: 27 Conyngham Street , Glenside, SA, 5065.



To return your product, you should mail it  to: 27 Conyngham Street, Glenside, SA, 5065.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
